Class Mates Wiki Pages

1) After viewing Hunter’s wiki page I felt very informed about global warming. He gave a normal everyday person like me a lot of very interesting and easy to understand facts about global warming. His voice thread/ PowerPoint slide show helped me understand what was really going on. I was shocked to find out that global warming is causing more natural disasters to occur. After watching the video I was able to scroll down on his wiki page and was able to watch another very interesting video and was overwhelmed with facts and links to articles telling me everything I need to know about his topic. He did a very good job organizing everything. It made earning about global warming a lot more entertaining and a lot easier.
2) Right after clicking on the link to Jas’s wiki page my eye was caught on the picture of the bio hazard sign. After glancing at that for a moment I continued scanning to see what information I could learn from the plethora of facts. I watched his voice thread and was amazed to learn all the different facts about the types and kinds of biological warfare. I never realized how recent biological warfare really is. After reading the notes that Jas took from talking with his expert he said that it had began during Nixon’s time in 1969. He posted a two part video about how the military tested biological weapons on the citizens. They did test in the subways and areas like that. That really shocked me to watch. I am surprised how they were allowed to do something that inhumane.
3) Matt’s wiki page did an amazing job at explaining “The American Psyche”. Before reading his wiki I was unsure what exactly the American psyche really was. I learned that they key aspect about being an American is having an opinion. And the more I thought about it the more I began to see how true that statement really was. He also mentions that ignorance plays a part in the American psyche. I would have to agree with his conclusion about that. He goes on to describe different aspects about the American psyche that I never knew even existed. I am really glad that I had the opportunity to read such an information and well written and organized wiki page.
