Everything about the Iraq War

As I was browsing through the CNN website about the Iraq War I was amazed by how much information CNN has put up. It shows what inventory each military has. It also has maps of each country as well as the impacts around the war and on the economies of the different countries. It was amazing to me as I was looking the the different weapons that the US has vs. Iraq and it seems that when it comes down do weapons of mass destruction the US has more actual bombs where as Iraq seems to have a lot more biological warfare materials such as anthrax and gangrene.

Iraq War Podcast

For our contemporary issues class we were told to listen to a podcast and then give an over view of what it was about. So for my podcast I chose to listen to The War News Radio. The one that I was listening to was how the people of the podcast have interviewed some Iraqi people and have got a selection of some compelling stories of these people. Some where even refugees. One found his way to the United Kingdom but now is kind of regretting his decision. There are so many other very intriguing stories to listen too so take a look.

Secret Prisons in Iraq

There is this article that I found that told about secret prisons that Iraq has. There are currently 420 of these secret prisons. It is said that the conditions are worse then the normal detention facilities. There was quite an uproar when the United States found about out about these prisons but as the article says when they tried to investigate it was a failure and not much has been done about these centers.

The True Cost Of The Iraq War

As I was reading over this blog http://threetrilliondollarwar.org/ I found the actual cost of the war to be very surprising. It describes the actual costs of the war and how there are costs that are over looked. It says how there are contracts that are signed in order to protect people which would cost the United States money.
